Young People's Discovery Concerts
Since 1947 the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra has presented youth concerts of live orchestral music specifically designed to awaken imagination, elicit a passion for music, and excite creativity in the young people of Southern Louisiana.

This year’s theme features Blue Dog, honoring the late Louisiana artist George Rodrigue. Blue Dog has escaped from his painting because he heard the sound of the orchestra and wants to find the musicians! Students will help guide Blue Dog home by journeying through art and music history.
